PV Roofs have recently completed the installation of a 27kw array of solar panels on both the farm shed and the home at Wester Broomhouse Farm at Dunbar.

27kw Array - 23kw to the farm and 4kw to the cottage.

The installation was complete using 114 Q Cell Base solar modules along with Wurth railing kit, 1 x 17TL Sunny Boy SMA Invertor and 1 x 10TL Sunny Boy SMA Invertor. Click to view the panel or Invertor.

All 114 of the panels were put onto the roof with 23kw of the installation powering the farm and the other 4kw wired to the cottage to power the home.

The 27kw system is estimated to produce approximately 23,134kwh per annum.

The installation only took the men a few days to complete as the weather thankfully stayed dry and clear.
