New Prices on FIT before 1st April 2012

As from the 12th December 2011, the Feed-In-Tariff will be reducing to 21p per kwh from 43p per kwh. The company have negotiated some new prices on installations that will hopefully still benefit you from solar PV. The example below shows the income and pay back time you would receive from having a 4kw installation installed by PV Roofs.

 

This installation example is based on using 65% of the energy produced.

 

ACT NOW AS UNDER THE GOVERNMENT REVIEW OF FEED IN TARIFFS THE RULES ARE CHANGING

  • FROM 1ST APRIL 2012 A RESIDENTIAL PROPERTY WILL HAVE TO HAVE AN ENERGY EFFICIENCY RATING OF ‘C’ TO ALLOW FITS TO BE CLAIMED
  • THIS MEANS IF YOU ACT FAST YOU CAN STILL INSTALL UPTO 31ST MARCH 2012
  • INSTALLS COMPLETED AFTER 12TH DEC 2011 ON RESIDENTIAL WILL GET 21P FIT RATE PER KWH GENERATED
  • REDUCED COST OF A TYPICAL 4KW SYSTEM TO £9500 INC VAT SUBJECT TO SURVEY
  • SOLAR IS STILL A VERY VIABLE INVESTMENT
  • BETTER RETURNS THAN THE BANK
  • AT LOWER PRICING SOLAR WILL BE ACCESSIBLE TO A WIDER MARKET
