50kw Installation at Crailing Tofts complete.
A 50kw Installation began on the 26th October and was complete on 9th October at Jedburgh. The system was complete using 180 x 280watt Suntech solar panels, which are estimated to produce approximately 40,000 kwh per annum. The waggon came to the office first thing on the morning of the 26th October to pick up the 180 panels along with the loadall to unload them at the other end and was soon on its way to Jedburgh for the team to start installing.

The men soon got the scaffolding up was ready to start fitting the brackets and rails immediately followed by the electricals and fitting the panels themselves.

Below the rails were being fitted ready to place the panels on using the K2 speedrail system.

One of the sheds holding the 50kw installation is now complete using 120 Suntech panels. The second shed was started on the 5th October so the men were well on their way to completing the 50kw installation. The second shed is holding 57 Suntech panels to complete the installation of 177 solar panels.

Above the first shed is complete with the 120 panels on. Below is the men starting the second shed which will hold another 57 panels.

The picture below shows the electrician doing some cabeling work from the loadall.

As well as the 180 Suntech solar panels that will be used and the rails, to complete the installation we will also be using 3 of the SMA Sunny Boy 17000TL Inverters which are used on the commercial Installations of this size. The Data sheet is available to look at here.
